When Christ ascended to Heaven, He promised and sent the Paraclete on Pentecost Sunday to guide the Catholic Church till the end of the world. “The Advocate, the Holy Spirit that the Father will send in my name — he will teach you everything and remind you of all that [I] told you.” (John 14:26)
The Counselor aspires the Azores to become a model of spirituality to the nations, in the remote preparation to Christ’s Second Coming. The Holy Spirit wants to transform a lukewarm Catholicism in the Azores caused by European Secularism, into religious zeal to inspire the world, and to resist to demons, false prophets and to other Church’s tribulations.
The Holy Spirit recomends Penance, participation in the Holy Mass, reception of the sacraments, particularly the Eucharist, and veneration of the Virgin Mary. The Paraclete will abundantly grant His Gifts to the Poor in Spirit so that they may produce abundant Fruits.
Catholics should always live in the Grace of God, because He can call them at any moment. Christ will call all living to appear before Him at the End of the World. Azoreans, surrender to the Holy Spirit to reflect the light of God to the nations, as we approach Christ’s Second Coming and The End Times.
